Join Macaroni KID Roanoke for our 6th Annual Downtown Candy Crawl
The Macaroni KID Roanoke Downtown Candy Crawl has become a sought after tradition. More than 500 families joined us in 2024, we hope to see you this year at our 6th Annual Downtown Candy Crawl!
Participating downtown Roanoke businesses and the farmers market vendors will hand out candy and other treats to Trick-or-Treaters on Saturday, October 26th, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. In addition, some businesses will be offering additional festive activities or discounts throughout the morning. Such as:
- In store activities such as STEAM fun, craft, games, contests
- Special offers day of or "come back" coupons
- Meal deals/Kids meal opportunities
- Vouchers or coupons- for example in the past one restaurant provided a $5 voucher for a kid's meal.
Bonus Activities for 2025:
- The Heir (apartment community) invites you in for refreshments and a rest stop/bathroom break.
- Thieves Honor Tattoo invites you to meet their artists, play Plinko, participate in a costume contest and more!
- Corned Beef and Company is offering free kids meal with purchase + a craft.
- WellHung Vineyard is hosting a paint your pumpkin craft beginning at 12 noon.
- Mast General Store is inviting you to bring your doggies for some fun treats, caricatures and Ruffwear demos from 10 -2 p.m.

Please register to participate in this event so we can:
- Prepare for enough treats.
- Communicate any changes or cancellations with you.
- Send you the trick or treat map of participating businesses.
- Send updates about exciting NEW features for this year's event!
The completed trick or treat map will be emailed to families who register by 10/24/2025. Please visit ALL of the businesses who are participating- you'll get a nice walk and it will make their day!

Participating businesses will stand outside of their store from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to hand out candy/treats.

Please note, this is not an event. It is simply organized trick or treating. Streets will not be closed and you are responsible for keeping your kids safe as you walk through downtown, crossing streets, etc.
