Hosted by Explore@RC Lab School , this exciting day camp gives teens the chance to dive into STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) through small-group sessions, field trips, college prep, and collaborative projects.
🌟 What Your Teen Will Experience:
Hands-On Learning with Professors
Campers will explore real-world topics through classes led by Roanoke College faculty in:
- Biology
- Environmental Studies
- English
- Anthropology
- History
- Psychology
- Media & Photography
Field Trips + Local Connections
Campers will go beyond the classroom with visits to:
- Roanoke River
- Crystal Spring Pump Station (a behind-the-scenes tour!)
- Local organizations like the Clean Valley Council and Western Virginia History Museum
Get a Taste of College Life

- Take a guided campus tour
- Join college readiness workshops, including tips on applying and financial aid
Final Showcase for Families
At the end of the week, students will present what they’ve learned and created in a special Friday afternoon showcase for families and educators.
