Looking for a fun and meaningful way to get your kids reading (and moving!) this summer? Don’t miss the 2025 Star City Summer Reading Trail, a free, family-friendly event happening July 1 through August 1 across Roanoke!
Created by local book lover and librarian by trade, Casey Brozovsky, this unique experience invites families to explore 8 stops throughout the city, each featuring a displayed children’s book chosen by participating local businesses and community spaces. You’ll find stories tucked into shop windows, lobbies, and other welcoming spots just waiting to be discovered!
🎒 How It Works:
- Sign up to receive your map and get started.
- Visit each trail stop at your own pace between July 1 and August 1.
- Read, explore, and enjoy!
- Complete your map and bring it to the Celebration Book Fair & School Supply Drive on Saturday, August 2 at Sweet P’s Ice Cream Shop to wrap up your adventure with books, treats, and community fun!
